CM MACCHINE
CARVING MACHINE WITH GOUGE EFFECT
-MODEL SKAUT 414-
The SKAUT 414 carving machine was designed by CM Macchine to automatically create the effect of hand planing on elements of beams, boards, matchboarding and wooden floors.
The novelty of this machine is the planing performed randomly and without repetitions, so that each piece is different from the others.
In addition to obtaining a hand gouging effect, by changing the parameters of the machine it is also possible to create infinite finishing effects.

FIXED WORKTABLE
Motorized working height adjustment with digital index.
Electronic 7.5” touch screen control instrument with the possibility of memorizing the various parameters used in the processing using a code and recalling them
ACCESSORIES
- Steel brush diam, 250 x 420 mm
- Multi- brush with abrasive strips brush diam. 260x420mm
MACHINE STRUCTURE
The peculiarity of SKAUT 414 is that it is composed of 4 sculpting groups, 1 woodworm group and 4 horizontal synthetic abrasive brushes of diam. 250 mm.
The milling units working from below have a random motorized movement PLANT on the two height and width axes to automatically and randomly achieve the effect of manual gouging.
It is possible to electronically adjust the speed of movement of the vertical and horizontal axis of the working groups. By varying these speeds, the movements of the carving on the surface change, creating infinite "manual planing" effects.
THE PHASES IN DETAIL
WORKING PROCESS
The working process of the SKAUT 414 automatic carving machine consists of four phases:
1. The workpiece is inserted into the machine and pulled in by the conveyor belt.
2. Once inside, the piece is worked on by the four groups of sculptors. The shaped cutters reproduce the hand planed effect on the noble surface of the workpiece.
3. The next step is the activation of the woodworm group and subsequently of the horizontal brushes.
4. The piece thus worked comes out of the machine sliding on the rubber exit belt.
