The RUSTIFLEX 2 and 4 chamfering machines were designed and built by CM Macchine to create rustic or regular edges with a fixed or floating position to follow the irregularities of the material to be worked.
The machines can be used to work planks, wooden beams, lamellar beams, matchboarding, prefabricated house elements and any other type of small and medium-sized wooden element.
RUSTIFLEX is the evolution of the BRUSHING MACHINE, from which a "patented" chamfering module has been created for the creation of chamferings both of a regular shape, like a planer, and of an irregular shape, like a "handmade".
With maximum working dimensions of 300 mm in height and 2200 mm in width, it is also widely customizable in configuration according to customer needs.

MACHINE STRUCTURE
RUSTIFLEX 2-4 differs from brushing machines for the presence of 2-4 upper chamfering groups. The two or four groups of chamfering are equipped with:
- One strapped tool per group
- Motor of high power and torque, one for each chamfering group
- Pneumatic displacement copier device

THE PHASES IN DETAIL
WORKING PROCESS
The working process of the RUSTIFLEX 2-4 chamfering machine consists of three phases:
1. The workpiece is placed on the conveyor belt and pushed over the loading surface.
2. Once inside, the piece is dragged towards the trimming units which works the upper corners of the beam.
3. The piece comes out of the machine and is supported by hand or slided on a roller conveyor.
